Ram Gopal Varma, who is best known for his unorthodox moves in terms of film related announcements, has once again hit the headlines. The filmmaker, who is currently busy shooting for a Nagarjuna movie, has announced his next web series titled ‘Kadapa’.
He took to Facebook to make an announcement on the web series. In a quite lengthy post, RGV said, “The title is derived as a summation of what a region stands for in its blood thirstiness a synonym of how violent Power affects the internal politics of ambition, ego, greed and one-upmanship,” describing the reasons behind naming it as ‘Kadapa’.
According to his post, the ‘Kadapa’ web series will be shot based on the information that Varma has “gathered over many years” and his “extensive interactions with ex-factionists to their victims’s, their relatives and so on.”
Earlier, Ram Gopal Varma had made a web series ‘Guns and Thighs’ in Hindi, which revolved around the Mumbai mafia. The ‘Kadapa’ web series is intended for the international audience in terms of “wherever violent power has been used to suppress any form of rebelliousness.”
